Single Rooms

Only certain rooms in each building are designated as single-occupancy rooms.

Currently, the demand for single rooms on campus exceeds the number available.

• Students with a documented medical necessity receive priority.
• Remaining singles are filled on a first-come-first-served basis during Housing Selection.

Students with higher lottery numbers are unlikely to secure single rooms and are encouraged to find roommates in advance.

Residence Life will consolidate single individuals into double rooms as necessary to make space available for students selecting as a pair or a group.

Students who do not wish to remain in housing if they are assigned to a multiple-occupancy room may be placed on a waitlist for available singles.
