Cabrini students in a residence hall

Housing Selection:

Please click on this link to view all information about Room Selection, including the Room Selection process, steps, and types of rooms available.

First-year students are housed in Woodcrest, Xavier, or East Residence Hall.

Upperclassmen are housed in West Residence Hall, South Residence Hall, the Cabrini Apartment Complex, and the residential houses.

Most students are housed in double-occupancy rooms with one roommate.

  • Some students are housed in single-, triple-occupancy rooms.
  • Single-occupancy rooms are reserved first for students with a documented medical need.
  • Members of the Honors Living Learning Community (LLC) are housed in East Residence Hall.

Because of the diverse needs of students, Residence Life cannot guarantee placement in a particular building or area.

We recognize that students will not be registered for classes prior to selecting a room. Students must get registered for classes and take care of any holds on their accounts by May 1st, or they will be removed from housing.

New Resident Students

June 1st is the deadline for any roommate preference considerations. Please understand, if you are in a Living Learning Community (LLC), your LLC placement be considered a priority before any roommate requests are considered. Your LLC placement will determine your room assignment location.

First year students apply for housing via the MyHousing portal by completing a housing application once they have paid ther deposit.  Deadline for the housing application is June 1st.

Housing assignments and roommate information are available in mid-July for incoming students to view on their “MyHousing” portal.

New Students will be placed in Woodcrest, East and Xavier Halls this year.

Residence Life matches roommates together based on the housing questionnaire, roommate requests, and Living Learning Community assignments.
