Leadership Development

The Center for Student Engagement and Leadership offers many opportunities to develop leadership skills through hands-on experience. Through student organization executive positions, groups such as CAP Board and SGA, roles like Orientation Leaders and Office Assistants, and leadership development trainings, students learn valuable knowledge and skills that will help them be a leader throughout their time at Cabrini and beyond!

Student Leadership Opportunities include:

  • Recognized Student Organization Officer/Executive Board Member
  • Campus Activities and Programming (CAP) Board Member
  • Orientation Leader
  • Student Government Association Executive Board Member or Senator
  • Cabrini Commuter Crew Advisory Board Member
  • SEaL Office Assistant
  • And more!

Cabrini University recognizes our student leaders each Spring semester at the Annual Cavalier Leadership Recognition Ceremony. Congratulations to the 2021-22 honorees!

Contact getinvolved@cabrini.edu to learn more about leadership development opportunities!

In addition to the Leadership development opportunities coordinated by SEaL, Cabrini University is proud of our Nerney Leadership Institute. The Nerney Leadership Institute works to ensure all students, no matter their background or experience, have opportunities to develop their leadership potential through curricular and co-curricular programming.

Other Student Leadership opportunities can be found through the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, the Wolfington Center, and Campus Ministry.

Cabrini also offers a certificate and minor in leadership studies through the Leadership and Organization Development Department and Change Department.
