The security methods used to keep your computer safe while accessing the internet can sometimes interferewith a smooth gaming experience.

Joining your gaming consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, etc) to the CabriniGCon should resolve these issues.

How Do I Find My MAC Address

A MAC address is a unique indetifier every network device has. Before joining the CabriniGCon Network you will need to find the MAC address of your console.

How Do I Find my PlayStation 4 MAC Address

1. Turn on your Playstation 4 without any disk in the drive and wait for the menu to pop up
2. Navigate to the Settings icon (located on the far left)
3. Select the System icon under the Settings menu
4. Select System Information
5. You will see your MAC address listed on this screen, containing letters and numbers in the format xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.

How Do I Find my XBox One MAC Address

1. Press the Menu button on your controller
2. Navigate to the Settings page
3. Select Network
4. Select Advanced Settings
5. MAC address will be listed next to Wired MAC on the right hand side of the screen

How Do I Find my Switch MAC Address

1. Select System Settings from the HOME Menu

2. Scroll down through the menu and select Internet

3. The Nintendo Switch console's MAC address will be listed under System MAC Address

How to Join The CabriniGCon Network with my MAC Address

1. Navigate to https://wifi.cabrini.edu/guest
2. Sign in using your Cabrini User ID (abc12345) and Password
3. Click Create Device
4. Enter a Device Name (My Xbox, My Switch, etc)
5. Enter the MAC Address
6. Click Create Device
7. On your console, you should now be able to join the CabriniGCon network
