Cabrini University Awarded Accreditation of its Business Programs

OVERLAND PARK, KS, USA (June 10, 2020) — The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) www.acbsp.org Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has awarded Cabrini University in Radnor, Pennsylvania, www.cabrini.edu, accreditation of its business programs.

Celebrating 32 years of excellence in global business program accreditation, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs, and the first to offer Certificate Accreditation. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the programs offered through the Business Department at Cabrini University meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

Based on the Baldridge Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, ACBSP accreditation evaluates aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support to determine whether or not the business programs offers a rigorous educational experience and demonstrate continuous quality improvement.

“Cabrini University has shown its commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale. “This accreditation is evidence that Cabrini University is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students.”

December 2019

As part of our ongoing dedication to continuous improvement, we are pleased to announce our BS in Human Resource Management degree program has been approved as a SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management)- fully aligned program.

SHRM-alignment brings a similar level of commonality to the HR degree program that is required of AACSB accredited Schools of Business.  Student enrolled in the HR Major may be eligible to apply for the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) exam during their senior year.  Earning your SHRM-CP conveys to potential employers that you have the knowledge and experience to be an effective HR professional and sets you apart in the competitive job market.

If you are interested in learning more about the SHRM-CP exam, or if you are interested in learning more about the HR Major degree program, please reach out to your advisor or faculty HR Major advisor, Barb Stoyell-Mulholland at bs626@cabrini.edu.

September 2019
