The Facilities Department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the University’s grounds and buildings, as well as projects for facility renovation and improvement.
Areas of responsibility include electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, general repairs, project management, event set‑up, grounds maintenance, and housekeeping.
Requesting Facilities' Assistance
The department has an online service request system that allows members of the University community to enter a service request “ticket” directly to the Facilities Department.
When the request has been completed, the requestor receives a survey to assist the Facilities Department in evaluating its customer‑service objectives.
24/7 Emergency Assistance
On‑call service is provided around the clock for emergency‑related problems.
