Walking into your first year of college, you have no idea what to expect. Take it from me. I had so many thoughts and emotions racing through my mind. That first moment when my family moved me into my dorm I was ecstatic to be on my own. I was excited to meet new people and start my own life. However, you can’t expect anything less than hard work and fun.
Meeting friends my freshman year wasn’t hard at all, and I am not a social person. Freshman year was the best year of my life and it still feels as if it was yesterday that I was playing hide and seek in Woodcrest Hall or participating in late-night dance contests with my residents. The fun didn’t come to us, we had to make it, and that’s exactly why I love it at Cabrini. I’ve met many of my best friends here at Cabrini and I am more than grateful for multiple opportunities.
