Junior Communication MajorMy name is Jatara Allen. That's me, second to the right in the photo. I am a junior communications major here at Cabrini. I love to write stories or anything I am passionate about, which is the exact reason why I am an editor for the school newspaper.
In my high school years I dreamed about being a doctor or a lawyer. However, plans took a turn for the best. My honors English teacher in high school knew me better than I knew myself. She knew I would be something in life even when I doubted myself. She actually found and helped me apply to Cabrini. I knew that I loved writing. I used to wait for my mother to come home just to show her the story or poem of the day. I probably didn’t even know what I was talking about back then. Now I’m living the dream; College Life.
You can find me yelling at one of my friends across campus with my huge mouth, everyone always know it’s me from a mile away. This is my life and I’m living it.
