The Cabrini Cupboard is the on-campus food pantry at Cabrini University. This year, it has switched locations, moving from its previous home in Grace Hall to a new space in the Wolfington Center which is on the third floor of Founder’s Hall. Newly under the supervision of the University’s Campus Ministry department, we are hoping to expand the Cupboard's usage and serve as many students as possible. Because of our newly renovated system of membership, the Cabrini Cupboard is available to more students this year than ever before. As long as you qualify for financial aid, you can register to use the Cupboard. This applies to both undergraduate and graduate students!
The Cabrini Cupboard has also expanded its offerings of food and personal hygiene products. Foods available at the Cupboard include meat, cheese, eggs, fresh bread, fruit, vegetables, and so much more. Whether you are looking to cook dinner in the kitchen in the Wolfington Center or just craving a grab-and-go snack, the Cupboard is the place for all of your dietary needs. We even have recipes on rotation and available for use in the Cupboard, depending on which food items we have in stock! Consider trying out a new recipe and impress your friends.
The staff at the Cabrini Cupboard and the Wolfington Center like to make crockpot meals for “Cozy Fridays” in the Wolf. These nights provide friendship, comradery, and great food from the Cupboard. Not only does this allow for less food waste, but it also creates a community on campus coming together to share food and watch movies. All students are welcome to come out on Friday nights to enjoy a warm meal and try some new recipes using food from the Cabrini Cupboard!
The pantry also stocks personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.
The Cabrini Cupboard is located in the Wolfington Center. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, although we are working to extend those hours in the near future. Donations of any amount are appreciated! If you want to donate food or hygiene products, stop by the Wolfington Center. We also accept financial donations through cabrini.edu/give.
