Nune Grigoryan, PhD

Assistant Professor, Communication Department 

Nune Grigoryan has joined Cabrini University in 2019. Cabrini houses her passion for education and social justice. She teaches social media courses at the undergraduate level. She enjoys exploring the fascinating world of digital media with students through hands-on projects. 

She is also the coordinator of Cabrini’s Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate Program. This post-baccalaureate program is designed to help working professionals to improve their social media skills for strategic communication. 

Nune’s research has been focused on media ethics, media literacy, political participation, immigration discourse, and digital alternative media. Her current research interests are in the areas of emerging new media, social media, and society. 

Prior to work at Cabrini, Nune has worked in the civil society development sphere in Armenia. She has over a decade of volunteering and professional experience in various areas of the non-profit sector. 

Nune earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University and her doctorate degree in Mass Communication at the School of Media Arts & Studies at Ohio University.
