Vonya Womack has two decades of business experience that includes marketing, sales, training, management, and leadership experience in private and public sectors in the following industries: banking, pharmaceuticals, insurance and health/disability domestically and internationally. She is known for her work in developing leaders in corporate environments and on international platforms. She served on an American based team deployed to Libya to provide leadership training, mentoring and coaching to over 80 Libyan professionals and civic leaders.
Womack is the faculty representative for the Omicron Delta Kappa Society and the Women’s Field Hockey team. She is a proponent of study abroad programs for student education and has led, assisted and or designed course programs to Central America, Africa, Europe, Ireland and the West Indies. She was a student of international study herself studying in Central America as well as the Middle East and Europe.
Womack teaches courses in Marketing, Common Core and the Masters in Leadership program as well as she is involved in online, hybrid and adult education pedagogy. Womack has a MS from the University of San Francisco where her thesis was on Conflict Resolution and Mediation for Business Administrators and a B.S. from Eastern Mennonite University. She has published in Leadership conference proceedings and Journals and presented her work at various conferences in the Middle East, Europe, and the US. She currently has papers at various stages of the writing and review process at leading journals.
