The Cabrini Dance Team is off to a great start rebuilding after COVID. We now have a full team of 14 student-athletes, two great coaches, and fresh performances you won’t forget. From dancing at the 76ers games to gracing the stage of Miss Philadelphia, our team has been working hard to make ourselves known.
Besides our usual Cabrini basketball game halftime performances that are scheduled throughout the fall semester, we are performing at many new and upcoming events in our local community this year that you won’t want to miss!
We started off the school year strong with our Rhianna-themed Halloween Havoc performance. We showcased our freshmen dancers for the first time and put our new team out on the court. We got to show off the talents of our very versatile team! We have girls trained in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, gymnastics, and cheerleading. It was a great first performance for everyone involved!
On December 2nd, we will be performing in the West Chester Christmas Parade. This parade begins at 6:30pm, and it will be televised! You won't want to miss out on the action. We cannot wait for our first holiday-themed event!
If you are stopping by the Christmas Village in Philadelphia by Love Park and City Hall on December 3rd, be sure to stop by the stage at 11am to see us perform! It's our first year attending this event and we will be dancing to a mix of Christmas music and showcasing our talented dancers. You will see a blend of ballet, hip-hop, and other styles that we have been perfecting!
Of course, you wouldn’t want to miss us dancing at halftime at the Cabrini Basketball games throughout the rest of the semester! We have a men’s game on November 19th vs. Brooklyn College at 1pm, and a men’s game on November 30th at 7pm vs. Moravian College. We will be putting out some new dances to entertain the crowd!
Our team this year is one of the largest teams that the program has ever seen, and we are so excited to show everyone what we have been working so hard on. Come out and support CDT this year! We have so much more in store for next semester, too!
