Celebrating Easter

Easter will look different this year compared to others. Because of COVID, people will not be able to have large gatherings and celebrate Easter how they normally do. For example, having big easter egg hunts for children might not occur this year because social distancing is still in effect. The Easter Bunny might not be delivering his eggs to houses this year. For those who go to church on Sunday, some may not be able to this year because some churches are closed due to covid. However, you can still catch a sermon online.

Although Easter will not be the same this year, it does not mean you can't make the best of it and adjust. If you are used to going to big events for children, make your own event in your own house. Have an Easter egg hunt in your backyard, or if you do not have one hide the eggs around the house. Painting eggs is also a fun activity to do for Easter that you can do within your home with your family. To spice it up, make it a competition and see who can decorate their egg the best! COVID has forced us to live life differently and adjust to the changes, but that does not mean you still can't have a fun time!

Also, for our littlest Cavaliers, share this video of President Taylor reading an Easter story with them!
