Cabrini Changes

Posted on 7/19/2018 9:08:22 PM by Keegan McKoskey

Throughout high school and college, I would always hear about different colleges and universities that don't change much about their campus year after year. I am glad that Cabrini is not one of those schools.

Cabrini is one of the few schools that actually listen to their students and make changes. A lot of universities have polls and surveys on what the campus can improve on. Mostly the answer is the food (Cabrini is also one of the few universities where the food is actually good).

This fall, Cabrini is bringing Starbucks beverages to campus! What is now called Jazzman’s Cafe on campus will see a name change to The Bean, with the addition of Starbucks coffee and tea, plus some new menu items. I instantly got excited when I heard this news (as I admit that I am a gold member for Starbucks). The Bean will be taking every paycheck I earn throughout this next school year every morning before class.

Other big changes to campus recently include construction for a parking garage and a new residence hall. Cabrini seems to be making the right changes and fast.

Cabrini is a great atmosphere and university that is one of the few who listen to its student community. These changes to the university in the next upcoming year show that Cabrini cares for its students. I am beyond excited to get back to school after summer and see how much the campus has changed.
