The Cavalier Leadership Celebration on Saturday, May 6, highlighted the accomplishments of Cabrini’s student leaders who have excelled on campus and beyond this academic year.
The day began with the Who’s Who brunch, honoring 32 seniors who demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Later, exceptional campus leaders were further celebrated with a ceremony including the Student Engagement and Leadership (SEaL) awards and inductions into Cabrini honors societies. These societies enable students who excel in their majors to join national and international honors communities with access to professional networks and industry connections.

“I always enjoy opportunities to celebrate our students’ successes,” said Michelle Filling-Brown, PhD, Dean, Academic Affairs. “As I delivered the closing remarks, I reflected on the importance of sharing our gifts, talents, and education with the world, as Mother Cabrini encouraged her students to do. Our world is a better place because of our students who were honored on the Leadership Celebration day.”
A semi-formal dance brought the festivities to a close, as students gathered in Grace Hall on Saturday evening.
