RADNOR, Pa. (Dec. 9, 2015)—Cabrini College has partnered with Cecil College, a community college in North East, Md., to offer students a convenient path to a bachelor’s degree from Cabrini.
Through the partnership, Cecil students now have opportunity to take Cabrini courses at Cecil College campuses.
Students can earn a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership from Cabrini with an academic focus in areas including accounting, business, communication, criminal justice, English, entrepreneurship, history, psychology, or sociology.
Cabrini also is exploring a degree completion program in environmental public health to complement the two-year program offered at Cecil.
“The College is excited to begin its partnership with Cecil College,” said Marguerite Weber, DA, vice president of adult and professional programming at Cabrini College. “By offering a customized education for Cecil students, in a convenient location, Cabrini will be a natural next step to advance their degree.”
In addition, Cabrini will offer pathways for high school and post-bachelorette work. For students who have earned a bachelor’s degree, the partnership will include the opportunity for Cecil College students to earn post-baccalaureate certificates and complete graduate programs. Cabrini also will expand Cecil’s partnership with Oxford High School so that students have the opportunity to enroll at Cabrini with advanced standing.
“Whether it be a student receiving their associate, bachelor’s or high school diploma, the Cabrini-Cecil collaboration provides motivated students a customized pathway to higher education. I’m confident the program will grow with each student success.” Weber said.
