RADNOR, Pa. (May 6, 2015)—Today through an official signing event, Cabrini begins partnerships with seven high schools and educational institutions from the Philadelphia area. The new partnerships are in effect immediately, with some beginning the summer.
“For many students, the cost of attending college seems daunting,” says Cabrini College President Donald B. Taylor.
“These partnerships—in addition to the eight signed into effect in December—demonstrate the College’s commitment to making college an accessible and affordable opportunity.”
To commence the dual-credit programs, Chester County Futures, Chichester School District, Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School, Lansdale Catholic High School, St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls, and Valley Forge Military Academy & College were in attendance.
Through the dual-credit partnership, Cabrini offers junior and senior students from these high schools the opportunity to earn up to 30 college credits through dual credit, summer programming, and other educational programs.
In addition, a partnership with Mastery Charter Schools will make scholarship opportunities available for Mastery Charter students attending Cabrini.
