RADNOR, Pa. (Sept. 22, 2015)—As Pope Francis continues to demonstrate progressive leadership, Cabrini College announces its plan to serve faith-based professionals through a Master of Arts in Religious and Pastoral Studies, launching in spring 2016.
With a focus on ethical decision-making and social justice, the 12-course program—which can be completed in 24 months—will help religious leaders and educators better serve their community and meet the needs of a changing society and a diverse congregation.
“This part-time program will help professionals make an immediate impact on his or her community and career,” said Jeff Gingerich, Ph.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs.
“The hands-on, practical coursework allows students to better support their congregations, learning communities and workplaces.”
Open to leaders of all faiths, the program is offered at a reduced rate for active ministry, religious and theological educators, or professionals in a related field as approved by the director of the program.
The degree offers specialized tracks in pastoral studies, religious education, and social justice.
