RADNOR, Pa. (May 29, 2015)—Cabrini College will add baseball as an intercollegiate sport for the 2016‑17 season. The search for a full-time head coach will begin immediately.
"Sponsoring intercollegiate baseball will create additional opportunities for new and returning students to compete under the umbrella of Division III," said Brad Koch, director of athletics at Cabrini College, upon making the announcement.
"We look forward to integrating those student-athletes into our campus culture and supporting the educational mission of Cabrini College. We have resources in place that will help this team perform at the highest level in the classroom, on the field and in the community."
Baseball will become Cabrini's 17th intercollegiate sport, joining men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, field hockey, golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis and volleyball.
