RADNOR, Pa. (Nov. 7, 2014) —Thirty-two students at Cabrini will share $69,000 in scholarship funding from the W.W. Smith Charitable Trust in the 2014–15 academic year.
This marks the 35th consecutive year that the Trust has supported undergraduate students at Cabrini. Since 1980, the Trust has provided more than 500 scholarships at the College.
Funding from the W.W. Smith Charitable Trust is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need, possess a cumulative 2.5 GPA, and reside in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, or Camden, N.J.
The W.W. Smith Charitable Trust is a private foundation established by William Wikoff Smith. The trust focuses on three specific purposes: medical research in heart disease, cancer and AIDS; financial aid for full-time undergraduate students; and food, clothing and shelter for children, families and the elderly.
