Students interested in careers in specific segments of the economy, such as with government organizations or private non-profit business, can combine this minor with a major in other areas of Business, or can customize their education to meet career interests with a major outside of the Business Department.

Economics is defined by Merriam-Webster as a social science concerned chiefly with description and analysis of the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services.  Earning a minor from Cabrini‚Äôs Business, Arts, and Media School provides you with more in-depth knowledge of how the global economy works. 

Employment Outlook 

Students who study economics can go into a wide range of potential careers. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that occupations in financial operations and business will continue to grow by 8.4% in 2024.
