Accepted Student Day

Each spring, accepted students come to campus for a fun and informative day full of activities.

Sample Schedule

8:30–10am: Registration, Photos, and Refreshments
(Dixon Center, Nerney Field House)
Meet other Cavaliers, bring your smiles and take a picture with the Cabrini Cavalier, and schedule an appointment with the Financial Aid Office and the Disability Resource Center.

Campus tours are available 8:30–9:15am.

9am: Mass (optional)
(Bruckmann Memorial Chapel of St. Joseph)
All are welcome to attend an optional Mass, celebrated by Father Carl Janicki.

10:15–10:25am: Opening Remarks
(Dixon Center, Nerney Field House)
Welcome to Cabrini University! Hear from Cabrini President Donald B. Taylor, PhD, about your next four years and the Cabrini experience.

10:25–10:30am: Admissions Remarks
(Dixon Center, Nerney Field House)

10:35–11:15am: Explore our Academic Programs
(various locations)
Ready to meet your new favorite professors? Interact with faculty and students in your major and learn about the opportunities you will have as a Cabrini student!

10:35–11:15am: Living and Learning Communities (LLCs) and Career and Professional Development (Grace Hall Atrium)
Learn about our seven Living and Learning Communities and meet our Career and Professional Development staff and learn how they help in college and beyond.

11:30am–12:15pm: Rotating Sessions (various locations)

  • Lunch and Activities Fair (Dixon Center, Nerney Field House): 
    Enjoy our Taste of Philly lunch catered by Sodexo Dining Services. Meet members from every student and athletic organization on campus at the activities fair! Campus resources and departments will be on hand to answer your questions.
  • Next Steps (various rooms): How do you become a Cavalier? 
    Attend this session to know your next steps after today.
  • Get Involved (Grace Hall Atrium): Learn what is here to do and get involved. Representatives from Student Engagement and Leadership, Athletics and Recreation, and the Wolfington Center will present.

1:35–2:30pm: Meet Other Cavaliers
(Widener Center Lecture Hall)
Participate in a Photo Scavenger Hunt, in which groups of 10 will go around campus to find objects, people, and places. Mingle with your classmates and maybe meet your new BFF or roommate!

1:35–2:30pm: COL 101—College for Parents 
(Grace Hall Atrium)

Parents are invited to attend our parents' panel, presented by the Parent Council. Parents, meet parents of current Cabrini students and bring your questions!

2–4pm: Open Campus
Drop off your surveys in the Dixon Center to receive your Cabrini Gift!

  • Tours in Woodcrest, Xavier, and East residence halls 
  • Campus tours
  • Cavalier Express Center in Grace Hall 
    • Submit your deposit. 
    • Register for Summer Orientation. 
    • Register for Pre-Orientation.
