Where should I mail a card or a package to my student?

Both cards and packages can be sent to a resident student’s mailbox.

Do all students have to participate in a University meal plan?

Only resident students are required to participate in a meal plan. Both resident and commuter students have the option to choose which meal plan works best for them.

How is the safety on campus maintained?

Public Safety officers patrol campus 24 hours a day and residence halls are always locked; students can only gain access to residence halls with their Cabrini ID cards. There is also an emergency notification system that students and parents can sign up for, which sends text and email alerts if there is a weather-related or other emergency on or near campus.

Do all students have academic advisors?

Even before they begin their first semester, all first-year students meet with an academic advisor to plan their courses. When students formally declare a major after their first semester, they will be assigned an advisor specific to their major.

What resources are available for students if they need extra help or tutoring in a class?

Through our Center for Student Success, students have access to academic counseling, peer tutoring, a Math Resource Center, a Disability Resource Center, and a Writing Center—all of which are free services.

Do many students receive financial aid and scholarships? How do I apply for financial aid?

Yes, 98 percent of Cabrini students receive some form of financial aid. The first step is for students to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which allows them to be considered for aid at Cabrini.

Are there events on campus that students can attend?

There are hundreds of events held at Cabrini each year, including Fine Arts events, athletic games, student-led events (Bingo Nights, pumpkin painting), comedy shows, service activities, fitness classes, and more.
