Master of Education with State Teacher Certifications
Cabrini University offers Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) teacher certification programs, which can be taken alone or as part of a Master of Education (MEd) degree. These programs, like most of our graduate education programs, fulfill Act 48 credit with the state.
Our part-time certification programs are offered on campus in Radnor, PA.
Initial Certifications
- Early Childhood/Elementary Education (PreK–Grade 4)
- Secondary Education (Grades 7-12)
- Special Education (Pre-K-12)
Advanced Certifications
(initial PDE certification required)
- Administrative (Pre-K-12)
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Reading Specialist (K-12)
- Special Education (Pre-K-12)
The above state teacher certifications can be added to our Master of Education program by taking three core Education courses.
Cabrini University also offers a Graduate Certificate in Urban Education.
