Along with your completed online application, we require official academic transcripts from every college/university you have attended. You may send them to us by email or the Postal Service:

Applying to Our Master's Programs

Standard Instructions for Applying to Our Master's Programs
Though each of Cabrini University's master's programs has unique criteria and eligibility (which are listed below), the following are the standard instructions for applying.
- Create an online account.
- Personal essay or writing sample 250 words (upload in the application)
- Two letters of professional recommendation (instructions provided in the application)
- Résumé (upload in application)
- Application fee ($50, non-refundable)
Program-Specific Admissions Requirements
Master of Accounting
The Master of Accounting program requires the standard admissions criteria for all University graduate admissions.
Requirements
- An undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree from an accredited institution
- An overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Applicants with a 2.5 to 2.9 GPA will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.
- A short personal essay or writing sample
- Two letters of professional recommendations
- Resume
- Application fee ($50)
Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice
This graduate program is offered as either a full-time or part-time graduate program for qualified Cabrini undergraduates or alumni. It is not offered as a standalone master's program for those who have not graduated from or who do not currently attend Cabrini.
Current undergraduate students start their graduate-level work during senior year of undergraduate study and then continue into one year of full-time graduate studies at Cabrini.
To be eligible for admission to Cabrini's Master of Science in Data Science program, students who meet the requirements above must have:
- Resumé
- Personal statement
- Two (2) professional letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts from all universities attended
Master of Education and State Certifications
The Master of Education programs require the standard admissions criteria for all University graduate admissions, and select programs have specific requirements listed below the general.
General Admissions Requirements
- An undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree from an accredited institution
- An overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Applicants with a 2.5 to 2.9 GPA will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.

State Certification Requirements
Please review the special admissions requirements for select certification programs.
- Reading, ESL: All require instructional one certifications and one year of teaching experience
- Special Education: instructional one certification (in core content area) and 1 year of teaching experience
- Principal Certification: An educational philosophy, 3 years of teaching, and instructional one certification
Master of Science in Data Science
To be eligible for admission to Cabrini's Master of Science in Data Science program, students must have:
- Undergraduate (baccalaureate) degree from a regionally accredited college or university with an overall grade point average of 2.75 or higher
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field OR coursework in object-oriented programming and database management systems
- Coursework in statistics and linear algebra required—MCIS 545 Mathematics for the Data Sciences: A course covering the basic math concepts focusing on linear algebra for data science, including what linear algebra is, what vectors and matrices are, how to work with them, and how to use them to solve problems
Master of Science in Leadership
Admission Requirements
- Undergraduate (baccalaureate) degree from a regionally accredited college or university with an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher
Students with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.74 can be admitted provisionally. - Minimum three years combined work and/or organizational leadership experience strongly preferred
- Submission of an academic or professional writing sample of at least two pages that demonstrates your writing ability. This could be a letter or report created for your company or an academic paper submitted for a class.
- Short, typed statement (roughly two pages) describing education, career goals, interest in leadership, and any other information that may be helpful in making an application decision
- Completion of application and payment of $50 nonrefundable application fee
Applying to Our Doctoral Programs
Cabrini University's doctoral programs each have their own admissions criteria. Applications must provide all required materials before they are interviewed by the Admissions Committee.
Educational Leadership Requirements
Admission to the Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership program is competitive and based on several indicators of academic quality that include the potential for leadership and scholarship.
Admissions Requirements:
- Official transcripts from every accredited college/university attended and/or from which the student earned credit
- Current résumé or curriculum vitae
- Copies of professional state certifications/teaching licenses (if applicable)
- A scholarly or professional project, report, paper, or product with a 1-2 page essay explaining how this work illustrates the applicant’s potential for leadership and doctoral level scholarship as related to the Cabrini Mission
- Two references having knowledge of the applicant’s academic ability and/or professional work and leadership potential
- An interview with the Doctor of Educational Leadership Admission Committee
Organizational Development Requirements
Admission to the doctoral program is competitive and based on several indicators of academic quality that include the potential for leadership and scholarship.
Admissions Requirements
- Master's degree with GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Official transcripts from every accredited college/university attended and/or from which the student earned credit
- Résumé
- Two professional references
- Sponsorship Form with Employer Signature (PDF)
- Two-page essay/statement of interest
- Interview with program administrators
- Academic or professional writing sample (optional)
- GMAT or GRE test scores (optional)
Note: All applications must submit a sponsor letter indicating that their employer understands the time commitment associated with the program.

Applying for readmission
Students who have not attended Cabrini for 12 months or more, or have officially withdrawn and would like to resume study, much complete an online readmission application.
