Vaccine and Booster Requirement

It is a matter of public health that the health and safety of all Cabrini University members, and subsequently that of all those with whom our community members interact, be protected and preserved. The health and wellness of our Cabrini community is always our utmost priority.

Cabrini University requires all faculty, staff, and students to be fully vaccinated, including a booster for COVID-19, by August 1, 2022. All employees and students are required to complete the "vaccination update" forms below to indicate their vaccination/exemptions status for fall 2022 (if not already completed)

Employees and students seeking to update their vaccination status due to getting a booster, starting/completing their original vaccination, or confirming an approved exemption should use the following links to provide that information for fall 2022 (required for all NEW employees and students, to be used by returning employees and students only when there are updates):

EXEMPTIONS: For those who cannot be vaccinated, either due to a medical condition or a strong moral objection, an exemption process is available. Please submit a completed Vaccination Exemption Form to healthservices@cabrini.edu immediately. Once exemptions are approved, you must complete the "Vaccination Update" (above) and follow the instructions at the top of the form.

In listening to our own community and in consultation with internal and external experts, we believe a fully vaccinated campus community is essential to ensure a safe and more traditional in-person and on-campus Cabrini experience that our community has so strongly indicated it wants.

Find a vaccine and booster administration location near you using this link. While boosters in one-day mass quantities are in short supply, Cabrini will announce an on-campus booster clinic early in the spring semester if a provider can be secured. You are encouraged to seek out a booster in your home community as a first option.

For more information, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page and our COVID-19 Resources pages on vaccination.

If you have additional questions not addressed by these resources, please submit them to return@cabrini.edu.
