Vaccine Requirement (Fall 2021)
It is a matter of public health that the health and safety of all Cabrini University members, and subsequently that of all those with whom our community members interact, be protected and preserved. The health and wellness of our Cabrini community is always our utmost priority.
In anticipation of an in-person fall 2021, Cabrini University is requiring all faculty, staff, and students to be fully vaccinated for the fall 2021 semester.
In listening to our own community and in consultation with internal and external experts, we believe a fully vaccinated campus community is essential to ensure a safe return to a more traditional in-person and on-campus Cabrini experience that our community has so strongly indicated it wants.
As a reminder, full vaccination is achieved two weeks after the final injection of the vaccine—that is, two weeks after the second injection of a two-dose vaccine or two weeks after receiving a single-injection vaccine.
Individuals should be fully vaccinated by August 15, 2021—which means receiving the final dose of your vaccination by August 1.
Find out more about our vaccine requirement for fall 2021 by viewing President Taylor’s video announcement.
Students and employees should respond to the Vaccination Status Survey (accessible by the links below) by July 2, 2021, so that we can provide appropriate steps for our community as we move forward with our plans for an in-person fall 2021 semester. Cabrini credentials are required to access the surveys, which take less than 2 minutes to complete.
For those who cannot be vaccinated, either due to a medical condition or religious belief, an exemption process is available. Please submit a completed Vaccination Exemption Form to email@example.com by August 2, 2021.
