There are many different departments on campus that offer jobs for students during the school year and even in the summer, including the Dixon Center and Athletics and Recreation Pavilion, Wolfington Center (the hub of social justice and service), Center for Student Engagement and Leadership (SEAL), Holy Spirit Library, and Campus Store, just to name a few. Some of the student jobs can be revolved around your major or what you are interested in, many of which are internship opportunities.
Even if you commute to and from campus, you can still find work around campus. Also, there are many places that are looking for college students around the area, especially the King of Prussia (KOP) Mall. The KOP Mall is always looking for student employees to bring more energy to the stores. Some of the other areas where students find jobs are in restaurants and retail stores around the area of Radnor and King of Prussia. All of these opportunities are great, because employers in the "real world" are always looking for students with job experience. Getting this experience in college is a must!
The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) can help you not only find a path to your professional career, but also can help you find jobs during the college years. The CCPD has helped many current and former students with finding internships and jobs. Even if a student is confused on what to major in when they come to Cabrini, the office can help find the student’s passion and help figure out how to incorporate the passion into a major.
