Have you ever gone ice skating? I went when I was younger and all I remember was falling on my face.
Last weekend, I went into Philadelphia on Friday night to go ice skating with five friends at the Blue Cross RiverRink. I am horrible with directions, so a friend drove.
It was kind of expensive to park, but to skate for about an hour and a half was $13, and only $3 if you had your own skates.
It was so much fun to skate under a bunch of Christmas lights and with friends from Cabrini. There was even a guy that was wearing an Eastern sweatshirt and I saw some familiar faces!
I think it’s so true the saying about college friends being your forever friends. Not only were these friends mostly in my major, but also friends I met freshman year.
I think Cabrini does a good job in the beginning of the year with all the orientation activities. Most of my friends I met through orientation. College can be weird, starting off without familiar faces, but once you put yourself out there, you can create great memories with them, like ice skating in Philadelphia.
Can’t wait for the next time we all go out!
