This past week I got to sit down and interview Alicia Maynard, the President of Cabrini’s Black Student Union. The Black Student Union welcomes people of all races, sexual orientations, and faiths to gain insight and share experiences while seeking to understand the experience of others.
One of the best parts of being at college is meeting new friends through common interests and discovering what you are passionate about. Cabrini has a wide variety of clubs that can get students involved in the campus and community.
Being an editor of our student-run media definitely has its ups and downs, but in the end it's a really rewarding experience.
Being a working college student, you can wade into the independent adult pool instead of being thrown into the deep-end at graduation. That doesn’t mean being a working student is easy. I’ve learned a few tips through my experiences as to how the working and schooling process can be slightly easier, or at least more tolerable.
