Today I am thankful for the fact that I am studying at Cabrini. I’m only a freshman and this experience is already opening so many doors for me, it’s giving me the opportunity to excel in life, learn so much about so many things, and be part of a community.
Recently I was a part of a conversation panel organized by Catholic Relief Services and co-sponsored by the Wolfington Center. The panel was called Dialogue with Migrants: Why we are here. I got to discuss my immigration story with the other panelists and all the people who attended the event.
Each Fall semester the University dedicates one day to celebrate the legacy and mission of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini. Cabrini Day this year is Tuesday, November 13th and the theme is Positive Identity and Resilience.
At the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) summit, I learned an important lesson in connectedness and walking with our neighbors.
