Learning Faith Outside My Comfort Zone
My last Cabrini adventure took me to Ecuador, where I learned more about myself, community, and faith than I ever imagined.
Rachel Maxey
Class of 2018Hello, my name is Rachel Maxey and I recently graduated from Cabrini University with a degree in Educational Studies. I was raised in Norristown, PA, and commuted to Cabrini. Throughout my four years at Cabrini, I discovered my passions and what it means to be authentic. I participated in many Campus Ministry activities such as PB&J nights, and service trips to Ecuador, New Orleans, and Appalachia, West Virginia. I also worked as the office assistant for the Jordan Center for Children of Trauma and Domestic Violence Education. I founded Students Against Violence Everyday (S.A.V.E.) and volunteered for Laurel House. In the fall of 2018, I will be attending the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College.
