Julia Smith

Class of 2021

Julia is a sophomore at Cabrini this year, growing up in a small town about 30 minutes from campus. She is a resident student, so if you see her around be sure to say hi! Julia came into Cabrini with plans to be a Social Work major, but is now majoring in Criminology, with minors in English and Gender and Body Studies. She is a very dedicated student, and is a member of the Honors Program, a President's List awardee and was recently inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Fraternity last year. Julia is also an active member of the Cabrini community, and serves as a Student Senate for Cabrini's Student Government Association, is a member of the University's Criminology and Sociology Club, and is involved in the Student Ambassadors Program.

When she's not studying or catching up on some much-needed sleep, Julia enjoys spending time with her three roommates, taking walks around Wayne, and cuddling with her puppy, Ginger, when she visits home. She is an avid activist, who takes pride in empowering herself and others around her, and is very family oriented. Some of her favorite pastimes include drawing, painting, watching crime documentaries and caring for her succulents.

Julia's ultimate goal is to go to law school and one day become a human rights attorney, in order to help those who are unable to advocate for themselves. For now, Julia is focused on receiving a good education, and enjoying her time at Cabrini.
