The Best Places to Eat Around Campus

Posted on 8/2/2022 5:44:43 PM by Kenzi Eldabh

Cafeteria food can be great as it allows you to choose between a variety of food options and get as many servings as you please. However, I like to be adventurous and go out seeking new places to eat, and the areas surrounding Cabrini allow me to do just that. Whether it be on the Main Line or by the King of Prussia Mall, there are plenty of restaurants to go to when you want to eat something different. In this blog, I will list out some of my go-to restaurants and will be separating them by price range.

$: Some of the cheaper options around school include a lot of fast-food restaurants that you can find within 3-5 minutes around campus. These restaurants include:

  • Chick-Fil-A - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • McDonald’s - ⭐⭐⭐
  • Honeygrow - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Halal Guys - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Wawa - ⭐⭐⭐
  • Minella’s Diner  - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Campus Corner   - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

$$: If you’re looking for a nice place to go out on the weekends with friends, or if you’re tired of eating fast food every time you go out, there are a lot of nice restaurants around school that won’t break the bank. Some of these restaurants include:

  • Wild Rice - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Christopher’s A Neighborhood Place - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Cheesecake Factory - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • La Scala’s - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • First Watch - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Outback Steakhouse - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Yard House - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

$$$: I usually save these restaurants for special occasions. If it’s a birthday, an end-of-finals celebration, or a date night, these are the restaurants that I will typically consider. They aren’t super expensive, but they are definitely not in the budget for a weekly visit. These more expensive restaurants include:

  • Azie on Maine - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Melting Pot - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Alessandro’s Wood Fired Italian and Bar ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Maggiano’s - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • J. Alexander’s - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

For me, dessert is a whole separate section because I have a huge sweet tooth. This being said, having so many dessert places around Cabrini has been both a blessing and a curse. They are all in the $ category and are all very much worth the trip. A few of them are family-owned cookie/ice cream places, while others are big chain restaurants. The best places to get dessert around campus are:

There are so many more places left to discover, and I am excited to find them and share them with you!

Happy eating!
