Cabrini Students Compete in Leadership Challenge

RADNOR, Pa. (April 20, 2018)—Last weekend, Cabrini students put their leadership skills to the test as part of the Collegiate Leadership Competition. A national initiative, the Collegiate Leadership Competition hosts regional events that challenge students to put classroom theories into action through a series of critical thinking tasks. At the Philadelphia-area regional event, teams from six local universities competed against each other.

John Schanz, Gloria Bonilla-Santiago to Give Cabrini University Commencement Addresses

RADNOR, Pa. (April 19, 2018)—John D. Schanz, corporate technology and telecommunications executive, will address bachelor’s degree candidates and receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters during Cabrini University’s undergraduate Commencement on Sunday, May 20 at 10am. Gloria Bonilla-Santiago, PhD, founder and Board Chair of the LEAP Academy University Charter School, will address master’s degree candidates and receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters during the University’s graduate Commencement, on Sunday, May 20 at 2:30pm. This year marks Cabrini’s 58th Commencement exercises.

Cabrini to Host First Philly-Based Food Recovery Network Summit

RADNOR, Pa. (April 16, 2018)—On Saturday, April 28, Cabrini University students will host the Food Recovery Network (FRN) Regional Summit. Held at Cabrini, the event will be the first-ever FRN regional summit in the Philadelphia area. Food Recovery Network Regional Summit at Cabrini University The daylong summit—Taking Care of the Community—will welcome students from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware universities to share skills, ideas, and experiences, and participate in a volunteer event around the FRN mission to “fight waste while feeding people.” This year’s regional summit will focus on college hunger.
