Dear Cabrini community,
Cabrini University is continuing to follow the guidelines established by Governor Tom Wolf’s COVID-19 mitigation procedures and those of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as we do our part to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
There are no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 at Cabrini University at this time.
Complying with established social distancing guidelines, Accepted Student Day will be rescheduled from its original date of March 29, 2020. More information, including a rescheduled date, will be coming soon.
Commencement currently remains scheduled for May 17, 2020. Over the coming weeks we will be assessing the need for any changes and updating students eligible to graduate and their families as circumstances surrounding the virus and mitigation requirements evolve.
As we adhere to social distancing, as we plan for classes previously held face-to-face to resume in an online-only modality on Monday, March 23, the power of community has made itself clearer than ever. Our welcoming, inclusive community is what makes Cabrini so special, and that hasn’t changed. We remain dedicated to supporting each and every member of the Cabrini family.
We are developing cabrini.edu/covidresources as a repository of available resources to help everyone and anyone as we navigate together the impact of these unprecedented times.
Additionally, we are using the campus closure to conduct an enhanced cleaning, with particular attention paid to all public surfaces and areas.
We take great pride in the tight-knit community and are eager to once again have our beautiful campus bustling with our Cabrini community members. In the meantime, we continue to find new and creative ways to connect as we do our part to protect public health.
Cabrini continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
I want to reiterate that we are here to help. Should you have any questions, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, I thank you for being the extraordinary Cabrini community that you are. Stay safe, stay healthy, and take care of each other. It is the Cabrinian way.
