Cabrini continues campus closing procedures (March 16 update)

Posted on 3/16/2020 7:37:04 AM

Dear Cabrini community,

Cabrini University is continuing to work with the entire Cabrini community to close campus, as per Governor Tom Wolf’s implementation of COVID-19 mitigation procedures.

There are no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 at Cabrini University at this time, but the health of the Cabrini community is paramount, and we, as a community, must do our part to address this public health crisis.

We recognize the impact this closure may have, and we are here to help. I continue to witness Cabrini faculty, staff, students, parents, families, alumni, and friends volunteering their time, energy, and resources, working together to address all the considerations involved in closing campus for an extended period of time. The entire Cabrini community has pulled together to support one another—assisting families and students as they depart residence halls, supplying alternative housing options for those with housing insecurity, addressing the issue of food insecurity for those who depend on on-campus dining services, and providing support for students in need of accommodation in order to continue their studies online—to thoughtfully and respectfully address the challenges this rapidly changing situation imposes on our community as a whole.

We are at our best when we are working together, and this situation has brought out the best in us. I am proud of how our community has come together and I am thankful to be a part of a community that lives to serve and care for one another and for others.Calvin with LOVE

Cabrini continues to monitor these unprecedented and rapidly changing events and will provide updates as they become available.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to health@cabrini.edu. We are here for you.

Again, I want to thank you all for your cooperation and understanding as we navigate together this extraordinary situation.
