Cabrini celebrated the 31st annual Cabrini Classic on Monday, August 24, welcoming alumni and guests to Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne for a golf tournament. The tournament featured a no-contact, online silent auction and was conducted utilizing mitigation measures that follow Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 social restrictions for golf courses. All proceeds from the event, including auction revenues, will benefit Cabrini students and the student-athlete experience at the University.
“That you’re here today is a testament to this lifelong community to which we all hold membership,” Cabrini President Donald B. Taylor, PhD, said before the tournament. “We are beyond grateful for this support and know that it is essential to not only maintaining Cabrini’s standard of excellence, but also expanding our Cabrinian Education of the Heart so that it may lift up our deserving students.”
The foursome of David Anders (ʼ18), Dan Gentilucci (ʼ17), Joseph Myers (ʼ17), and Pat Rooney (ʼ14) finished first in the scramble tournament, shooting a combined 18 strokes under par.
