RADNOR, Pa. (March 26, 2018)—Senior men's basketball student-athlete Tyheim Monroe collected his second National Player of the Year honor today, as the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) bestowed its top honor on Monroe today.
Monroe, who was also named National Player of the Year by DIII News, joins Aaron Walton-Moss as the only Cabrini players to earn the recognition. Walton-Moss claimed the award in both 2015 and 2016.
In the 37 years, the NABC has named a Division III Player of the Year, three have now worn the Blue and White, joining SUNY Potsdam and Amherst with the most honorees.
Monroe posted a historic season leading the Cavaliers to a 25-4 record and its 14th Colonial States Athletic Conference championship.
