Cabrini Receives National Award for Business and Education Programs

A national student-centered guide for colleges and universities endorses Cabrini for its academic programs.

RADNOR, Pa. (July 31, 2018)— Cabrini University has received program-specific national recognition from Colleges of Distinction for its Business and Education programs.

For the second year, Cabrini has been honored as a College of Distinction for the University’s personal approach to education and its engagement of multiple high-impact practices.

The University now adds the program-specific honors to an already compelling list of accolades including a College of Distinction for both the region (PA) and religious affiliation (Catholic).

Business: In naming Cabrini’s Business programs, Colleges of Distinction recognizes Cabrini’s aim to keep its future leaders ahead of the curve and ready to grow alongside an industry that is fast-paced and requires effective communication and innovative strategies.

Cabrini’s undergraduate Business programs include nine majors or minors in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources Management, International Business, Marketing, and Sports Management.

Education: In highlighting Cabrini’s Education program, Colleges of Distinction showcases Cabrini’s future educators who receive an enriching liberal arts education that allows them to be empathetic, creative, and efficient mentors for their students.

Cabrini’s undergraduate Education programs include majors in Education, PreK–4; Education, PreK–4 with PreK–8; Special Education; Education, Middle Level (4–8) with Concentration in English/Reading and Language Arts; Education, Secondary (Biology, Chemistry, Communication, English, Mathematics, Social Studies); and Educational Studies.

For nearly two decades, Colleges of Distinction has advocated for institutions that prioritize the overall undergraduate experience with a hands-on, thorough liberal arts education. Its selection process evaluates each school holistically, going beyond typical rankings lists to acknowledge the everyday opportunities for students to engage actively with their peers, professors, and respective areas of study.
