Cabrini Board Elects Five New Trustees

RADNOR, Pa. (July 13, 2017)—Cabrini University announced five new members elected to its Board of Trustees, effective July 1.

The new Trustees include Angela Dowd-Burton, Mike Kazanjian (’03), Andrea Kelliher (’97), Yolanda Flores Rodriguez, MSC (’82), and Eric Tidwell (’96). 

Angela Dowd-BurtonAngela Dowd-Burton is the President of the Women’s Business Development Center (also known as the Women's Business Enterprise Council of Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey), a Philadelphia-based nonprofit dedicated to building up businesses run by women.

Previously, after a long career in Rohm and Haas, she served for seven years as the Executive Director of the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Economic Opportunity. She earned an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from Drexel University.


Michael Kazanjian

Michael Kazanjian (’03) is the Vice President for Annuity and Retirement Plan Services Marketing at Lincoln Financial Group in Radnor, PA, and was named as one of “Twenty Rising Stars in Financial Marketing,” by The Gramercy Institute in 2013.

Kazanjian completed the Securities Institute Executive Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He earned a BA in English and Communications from Cabrini University.


Andrea KelliherAndrea Kelliher (’97) is founder and President of Positive Solutions, a marketing and public relations agency formed in 2007. Prior to forming Positive Solutions, she worked for marketing agencies and firms developing regional and national campaigns.

Kelliher has a wide range of skills in PR, marketing, sales, and social media. She also is active in her community. She earned a BA in English and Communications from Cabrini University. 


 

Sr Rodriguez

Sr. Yolanda Flores Rodriguez (’82) is a Missionary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Since 2012, she has served as Immigrant Family Program Coordinator and Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) Accredited Representative at Cabrini Immigrant Services in New York, NY. She previously served as a translator in Rome as well as a high school and elementary school principal and high school teacher in Nicaragua.

She earned a BA in Theology and Religious Science from the Pontifical Lateranense University in Rome and a BS in Simultaneous Translation from the Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori in Rome and Kingston University in London. She also earned a BA in Education from Universidad Autónoma de Nicaragua, in Managua, Nicaragua, and a BA in Fine Arts and Religion from Cabrini University.


Eric Tidwell

Eric Tidwell (’96) is an IT Security Architect at IBM with more than 15 years of experience and success in leading infrastructure organizations, architecture, and security. He previously served in a similar role at Astra Zeneca, Metrics3 LLC, and MEDecision, Inc. Tidwell earned a BS in Computer Information from Cabrini University. Tidwell was inducted into the Cabrini Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013.
