The Green Team—made up of students, faculty, and staff—is a Cabrini committee that focuses on sustainability issues such as water and recycling.

The Green Team upholds Cabrini’s commitment to the stewardship of God’s creation by increasing our sustainability, which is defined as meeting the needs of today’s people without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

Toward this end, the team will develop and implement projects to:

  • increase the sustainability of all aspects of Cabrini University
  • increase awareness of sustainability issues within the campus community
  • provide support, advice, and resources to the sustainable living efforts of the college community, both on campus and off.

Saint Francis Pledge

Take the St. Francis Pledge, a promise and commitment to live our faith by protecting God’s Creation.

All across our country, Catholics are taking the St. Francis Pledge to Care for Creation and the Poor and joining the Catholic Climate Covenant.

The St. Francis Pledge is a promise and a commitment by Catholic individuals, families, parishes, organizations and institutions to live our faith by protecting God’s Creation and advocating on behalf of people in poverty who face the harshest impacts of global climate change.

How to Take the St. Francis Pledge

  1. Visit www.catholicclimatecovenant.org/the-st-francis-pledge.
  2. Select “School” under pledge type and put in “Cabrini.”
  3. Fill out your name, email address, and zip code.
  4. Hit Submit.

The Cabrini Green Team thanks the nearly 50 Cabrini students who took the St. Francis Pledge at the Involvement Fair.
