Australia Semester Abroad
Through Cabrini’s affiliation with the University of Notre Dame, Australia (UNDA), Cabrini students have the opportunity to enroll in courses offered through any of its eight academic schools:
- Arts and Sciences
- Business Education
- Education
- Health Sciences
- Law
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Philosophy and Theology
In addition to its regular course offerings, each school has a wide selection of classes with a strong Australian focus, including courses in such areas as Australian history and society, coastal and marine systems, and Business in Asia.
Cabrini’s program at the UNDA began in the spring semester of 2005, when nine Cabrini students embarked on a study abroad adventure which would lead them to one of Australia’s most exciting and innovative universities.
Notre Dame, founded in 1989, is a relatively new Australian private Catholic University committed to ensuring that its students receive a personalized, high-quality education.
With two beautiful campuses - one on the Western coast of Australia (Fremantle) and one on the Eastern coast of Australia (Sydney), Cabrini’s Australian affiliate offers a caring and friendly learning environment, providing challenging and relevant courses that are responsive to student needs within a variety of majors.

Please note that for semester-long and semester-long study abroad programs, there is a 2.5 GPA requirement at the time of application for the experience.
