Early Arrival Moveā€‘In

Students who are required to arrive early to participate in an authorized activity may pick up their keys and move in with permission.

Individual Early Arrival Requests

Students requesting early arrival will be charged $30 a day. Note: this does not apply to athletes or other students who are required to move-in early due to student activity or invited to move in (transfers, students registered with the Accessibility Resource Center and approved by the ARC for early move in.)

Students who need to request early arrival or have questions should email reslife@cabrini.edu from their @cabrini.edu account and include:

  • reason for early arrival
  • requested date of arrival
  • student ID number
  • building and room number

Students will be notified of the approval/denial within 72 hours of their request, via their @cabrini.edu email address.

Group Early Arrival Move-In Schedule
If you are a member of an organization/group (athletic team, orientation, etc.) you should not submit an individual request for early arrival. The department hosting you will submit your name to the Office of Residence Life.

Approved early arrival groups may pick up their keys in the Residence Life Office located in Woodcrest Hall during designated times (except if noted otherwise) and move in according to the group scheduled time.

Students approved to move-in early will receive information about move-in from Residence Life specific for each scheduled group.

Students who know in advance that they are unable to arrive by the designated end time should plan to arrive during normal hours the following business day. Public Safety cannot let students into their rooms after hours.

All students must be cleared by the Cavalier Express Center to check in and receive a room key. Therefore, students who are arriving later in the day or on a weekend should be sure that any billing, registration, or financial aid issues are settled before arriving on campus.

The Cavalier Express Center can be reached at 610.902.8188 or cavalierexpress@cabrini.edu.
