Housing Waitlist

Students who complete the housing-selection process, but are unable to secure housing during Housing Selection, may place themselves on the housing waitlist.

As spaces become available (late spring semester, during the summer, fall semester), Residence Life will offer housing to eligible waitlisted students.

  • Students who do not complete their housing application by the deadline or who do not participate in Housing Selection may place themselves on a housing waitlist.
  • Students may request waitlist placement at any time for either housing in general or for a specific type of housing that they were unable to receive during Housing Selection, such as a single room.

In these cases, students would complete the waitlist housing application on their “my housing” portal in the Cabrini Portal.

To be placed in housing and receive a room assignment, waitlisted students must be in good financial, academic, and disciplinary standing and be registered for 12+ credit hours for the semester for which they are seeking housing.

Availability of housing for waitlisted students varies from year to year, and is partially dependent on the number of incoming first-year students requesting housing and completing the process.
