Insurance

The University does not provide medical insurance. However, it is strongly recommended that students carry private health insurance as illnesses, emergencies, and accidents can cost thousands of dollars.

If you are currently enrolled in a parent or guardian’s plan, you can continue to be covered by that plan up to age 26.

If you choose to buy a health insurance plan, please make sure that it includes coverage by physicians, hospitals, and clinics in Pennsylvania.

If you do not have health insurance, you can visit any of the Urgent Care Facilities listed under Emergency and After-Hours Care.
