Collegiate Recovery Program

Collegiate Recovery is a gathering (community) of peers who assist and encourage each other in their journey of recovery. It is open to the entire student body. Each participant follows their own unique path to recovery and wellness and chooses to make that journey in the company of others headed in the same direction. Students are asked to share as much or as little as they are comfortable.

Open to the entire Cabrini community, our space recognizes each individual’s path to wellness, from struggling with substances or other addictions as well as mental health recovery. Students are welcome to share, hang out, get involved and help create an environment of trust and peer collaboration. Before we begin to check in with each other, we will review the guidelines for each discussion. We are all responsible for following and committing to the group standards, which are in place to keep the group safe.

Each Tuesday from 2-3pm, we meet in Grace Hall, Room 247, for an hour of discussion and sharing that helps to relieve stress, build engagement, and examine what recovery can mean to each one of us. Please join us every Tuesday afternoon or in the office any time from noon until 5pm on Tuesdays. We’d love to see you and help in any way we can.
