Summer Assignment

Before the first class starts, students at Cabrini University start learning together. A summer assignment, continuing into the fall semester, is given to support students' transition to Cabrini.

The “Who I Am” writing assignment asks students to reflect upon their life-long journey to Cabrini University, keeping in mind the people, events, and places that helped and supported them from childhood to the present.

Other aspects that may or may not be represented in students' journey and included in the "Who I Am" assignment are:

  • Traditions that have become part of their life
  • Favorite songs and stories
  • Familiar phrases or sayings
  • Important beliefs or values
  • Images, sounds, smells, and/or emotions
  • Special foods or meals

Students submit their “Who I Am” writing assignment through the CavList. Deadline date to come soon.

For questions, contact Shana DeRosa, Director of Academic Advising, at sd3357@cabrini.edu.
