Employer Policies 

The Cabrini University Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) does not post non-professional positions on Handshake. If you are currently recruiting students for a paid position that is unrelated to academic pursuits, below are a few websites to consider.  Please note: the Career Center does not endorse any specific website or service.

  • Snagajob - job posting site dedicated to reaching applicants for hourly positions. Fees for posting may apply.
  • WayUp - job posting site and candidate search dedicated to the recruitment of college students. Fees for posting may apply.
  • Indeed - job posting site for all types of positions. Free basic services and postings available.
  • QuadJobs - job posting site catering to students with a busy schedule. 

Cabrini University cares deeply about the safety and well-being of students and families in the community.  With respect to job placement, childcare positions involve particularly sensitive vetting of both job candidates and potential employers, including some new background check requirements under Pennsylvania law that may apply.   Cabrini University’s CCPD believes students and community families will be best served by using other placement services that are specifically designed to address these sensitive childcare job placement needs.

Employers extending full-time offers or conversions to previous summer interns must allow students to accept or decline until November 15th, or a minimum of four weeks after the date of the written offer, whichever is later.
