E-Tutoring
Our purpose in providing asynchronous, online tutoring, called “e-tutoring,” is to offer more options for support to Cabrini students, especially for those who commute or live far from campus, those taking online courses, and those with disabilities for whom written feedback may be more accommodating than an in-person appointment.
To schedule an e-tutoring appointment, go to www.cabrini.mywconline.com (account required), and look for appointments labeled "e-tutoring."
“E-tutoring” sessions are asynchronous, which means you do not need to be present at the time of your appointment. You do, however, need to upload your prompt and your draft to the appointment form, so your tutor can download them and compose written feedback to you. You will receive a notification when feedback is ready, around the time of the end of your scheduled appointment.
Please keep in mind the following policy for E-Tutoring:
- Because time is limited, just as it is with in-person sessions, students should not submit drafts that are longer than 8 pages. Tutors will not be able to respond with feedback to drafts longer than 8 pages. Students should also note that, depending on the feedback that you need, tutors may not be able to read the entire draft submitted.
