Seth Frechie, PhD
Seth Frechie, PhD, came to Cabrini in 1997 and immediately identified with Cabrini’s education of the heart. Frechie subscribes to a mentoring philosophy that motivates students to develop ideas independently and to rigorously explore the social and ethical dimensions of their thought and actions.
A writer and editor, Frechie’s work has been presented at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, the Council of Independent Colleges, the National Council of Teachers of English Conference on College Composition and Communication, and other nationally recognized professional associations.
Frechie earned doctoral and master’s degrees from Temple University, and a bachelor of arts degree from Kenyon College in Ohio.
His academic work focuses on American literature, creative writing, composition and rhetoric, and cultural studies.
